Day-by-Day Itinerary
Samarkand → Nurata → Yurt Camp
Drive to Nurata: visit Alexander's fortress and the sacred Chashma spring. Continue to the yurt camp by Aydarkul Lake.
Aydarkul & Sarmysh
Morning swim or walk by the lake. Camel ride. Afternoon excursion to the Sarmysh Gorge petroglyphs.
Return
Morning desert breakfast. Drive back to Samarkand or Bukhara.
